Our Picnic at Eastern Beach

On Monday 4th of March everyone was over excited. I got to school and could not wait to go and then we got on the bus and had a wonderful journey to Eastern Beach. When we arrived all of our hearts were pumping fast and faces burning. I was so happy to get there. At that moment the sun was bursting through the clouds the water was beautiful, its ripples looked so smooth. Mr Johnston told us the rules then we played. We had lunch then started to play. There were so many activities to choose from like volley ball, cricket and soccer; but the thing most people wanted to do was swim. Everyone laughing enjoying themselves splashing about while the year 7 and 8s wanted Ms Kirkpatrick to say what they were waiting for... ‘Grab a kayak!”
The kayks drifted off like they were walking on water. After a wonderfully long time playing, we had all played so many awesome games I knew everyone was having a great time. Just about everyone had been swimming. I enjoyed skimming the shells across the refreshing sparkling water with Aryan Quaid and Acein the most. We also built sand castles and climbed trees but unfortunately it was not long before it happened. We had to depart. On our trip to school I sat and thought about my very awesome day.

  1. Hey Phoenix

Sounds like you had an amazing day at Eastern Beach. Kayaking and skimming shells across the water and being a little monkey climbing trees. I bet you hope you get to go on another trip like this next year.
